This webinar will look at how advances in quantum computing will soon make it possible for cybercriminals to decrypt communications using current encryption technology. Store Now, Decrypt Later (SNDL) techniques have been prevalent for some time, but the availability of quantum computing poses a serious threat to corporate assets, critical infrastructure and national security. Communications networks urgently need to be secured with quantum-safe technology. It’s particularly important for organizations that are running global networks and CNI, or are the trusted connectivity providers of large corporates – i.e. Telcos.
We will hear how Telecom Italia Sparkle, working with Intel, Arqit and Adtran, became the first connectivity provider to offer a quantum-safe, Network-as-a-Service (NaaS) commercial offering, enabling Sparkle to offer its customers quantum-safe encryption of VPNs as an add-on service. They will go into detail on how they’ve combined Intel-based NetSec accelerator cards for enhanced network performance, Adtran’s zero-touch deployment for effortless provisioning, and Arqit’s quantum-safe encryption to deliver highly secure IPsec VPN tunnels across data centers, PoP servers, and customer premises. This ensures uninterrupted, secure communications that telcos can rely on, and provides an important differentiator for keeping their customers’ critical data safe.
