Vodafone UK is apparently considering an acquisition of TalkTalk, a provider of phone and broadband services, in order to strengthen its consumer bundled services portfolio. TalkTalk, which split from retailer Carphone Warehouse earlier in 2010, already has an MVNO partnership in place with Vodafone, in order to extend its fixed line services into mobile. Vodafone was also suggested as a possible suitor for mobile retailer Phones 4U.
