Vodafone Italia has signed an agreement with Telecom Italia for sharing transmission sites, reports Telecompaper. The agreement extends a previous contract that expired and covers 9,860 sites at the two operators, to be shared for the coming six years. Vodafone yesterday announced a deal with Telecom Italia’s shareholder Telefonica to share infrastructure in other European markets.
