Spanish telecoms group Telefonica has appointed former Vodafone manager Rene Schuster to head its German business and called its current CEO home after just two years, reports Reuters. Schuster will take the helm of O2 Germany in June, whilst current CEO Jaime Smith will join the parent company in Madrid and take on responsibility for alliances with Telecom Italia.
