SingTel partnered with app store Appitalism.com to make available content via the operator’s MyAppsMall portal.
The distribution deal will see content from Appitalism made available to customers in 25 countries including Australia, Singapore, India, Indonesia, Thailand, Philippines, Kenya, Nigeria and Pakistan. It is also said to form part of the Appitalism Wings programme, which helps app developers maximise their return on investment by matching content with new and appropriate distribution.
MyAppsMall is a SingTel Group initiative, which provides a “common regional digital platform” offering a range of content and services to partner operators and their mobile customers. It provides contract and prepaid customers with digital content including mobile applications, games, themes and wallpaper, across platforms including Android, BlackBerry, Java and Symbian.
