TeleGeography reports that Brazilian mobile group TIM Participacoes (TIM Brasil), a unit of Telecom Italia, yesterday reported second-quarter net losses of BRL15.2 million (US$8.3 million) in 2Q09, compared with a loss of BRL66.3 million in the corresponding period of 2008. EBITDA climbed 15.5 percent over the same period from BRL637 million to BRL736 million.
