Dow Jones Newswires reports that an increase in total operating revenue and foreign exchange gains helped PT Telekomunikasi Indonesia, or Telkom, report a 6.7 percent rise in its audited net profit for 2009, and prompted Indonesia’s largest telecom company by subscribers to forecast a 10 percent increase in revenue this year. Net profit for the January-to-December period rose to IDR11.33 trillion from IDR10.62 trillion in the previous year. Total operating revenue rose 6.4 percent to IDR64.6 trillion from IDR60.69 trillion.
