Indonesia’s PT Telekomunikasi Indonesia (Telkom), the country’s largest operator, said on Friday it has appointed UBS to advise it on its CDMA deal. Telkom is in talks with Bakrie Telecom, Indonesia’s second-biggest CDMA operator, over a merger of the two firms’ CDMA operations, a deal which is expected to be finalised in July, sources told Reuters recently.
