Telefonica Digital will collaborate with Turkish operator Avea to develop M2M-related business opportunities. Other operators are being invited to join the project which aims to provide global M2M technology, international roaming agreements and develop technical standards. The collaboration also includes joint commercial and marketing efforts, and has scope to develop M2M technology for transportation, smart cities and home automation.
