US operator Sprint Nextel has launched WiMAX services in Los Angeles, Miami, Washington D.C., Cleveland, Cincinnati and Columbus, Ohio. The move takes Sprint’s WiMAX network into 68 markets across the country, including Atlanta, Boston, Chicago, Dallas, Houston and New York City. Additionally, the operator announced that it expects to launch the San Francisco market on December 28. Sprint first launched WiMAX services in Baltimore in September 2008.
