Peru’s Ministry of Transportation and Communications (MTC) plans to relaunch a project to attract a fourth mobile operator on the local market, reports Telecompaper, citing an article in El Comercio. A new operator would compete with Claro, Movistar and Nextel. The government plans to launch the tender in March.
