Orange Kenya has launched a new 3G network capable of speeds of up to 21Mb/s. The service is now commercially available in Kisumu, Mombasa and Nairobi – and Orange Kenya plans to extend it to other parts of the country in the next few months. According to the operator, the new network is the second of its kind in Africa and cost around KES4 billion to build. Telkom Kenya CEO Mickael Ghossein said the network should allow users to maximise their data use with Orange.
