Opera Software has moved to enhance its growing mobile phone capabilities by acquiring Australia’s FastMail cross-platform e-mail and messaging provider. Terms of the deal were not disclosed. The acquisition, announced Friday, was Opera’s second significant action in the mobile phone world in recent days. Opera recently acquired mobile ad provider Ad Marvel for about US$23 million.
