The number of LTE subscribers in South Korea reached 11.7 million at the end of September, representing 22 percent of the country’s connections base. That’s according to a research note from Korea Investment and Securities (KIS) seen by Cellular News. The bank says that ARPU at the country’s three operators will rise in the second half of this year on the back of LTE services, and gain 5.1 percent year-on-year in 2013.
