The company behind the Evernote productivity apps has secured US$70 million in Series D investment, which it plans to use to fund strategic acquisitions and to expand into new markets. Meritech Capital and CBC Capital led the round, with a number of other investors also involved. Evernote’s user base has tripled in the past year and now totals 30 million users. The company is currently recruiting for positions in the US, Tokyo, Beijing and Zurich.
