Sri Lanka’s dominant wireless operator Dialog Telekom intends to change its name to Dialog Axiata, in line with its Malaysian parent group, the firm said in a stock exchange filing, notes TeleGeography. The cellco’s owner, Axiata Group, was previously named TM International (a company spun off from Telekom Malaysia) but assumed its current moniker in May 2009.
