Reuters reports that Sunil Mittal, chairman of Indian market leader Bharti Airtel, said that “some semblance of sanity” is being restored to the country’s telecoms market, following a period of “hyper competition.” Mittal noted that while there were signs that the country’s fierce price war was coming to an end, there is still a “fair amount of regulatory uncertainty” in the air.
