A Forum Nokia blogger questioned the potential of Windows Phone as a replacement for Nokia’s Symbian OS platform, stating that his conclusion after testing the vendor’s N8 device is that “Windows Phone 7 is unlikely to be able to replace S^3 anytime soon.” According to Sivan Greenberg, a “Forum Nokia Champion,” “the extent to which S^3 and the Nokia UX in the N8 compliments the (IMHO) amazing hardware periphery, is yet to be seen in any other mobile devices so far.” Greenberg also “urged” Nokia to “examine carefully the situation with S^3 before EOLing it.”
