Analyst firm ABI Research said that early indicators show momentum returned to the mobile handset market in the third quarter of 2011, following a flat performance in Q2. It noted that “Nokia is as close as it has ever been to losing its top market share spot,” with Huawei, ZTE and TCL eating in to its low-end share, paving the way for Samsung to become number one.
