The board of the GSMA has elected Alexander Izosimov, the group CEO of Russia’s VimpelCom, as its new chairman for a two-year term. Izosimov succeeds Craig Ehrlich. Bill Hague, executive VP of AT&T, was elected as deputy chairman.
