The GSMA is working with Sri Lankan operator Dialog Telekom to deploy ten solar and wind-powered base stations in the country.Meanwhile, on the Pacific archipelago of Vanuatu, leading local operator Digicel, supported by the GSMA Development Fund, has completed the second phase of its green power network implementation and is using wind and solar energy to power 25 base stations.
