French media and telecoms conglomerate Vivendi said it expects further growth in adjusted earnings before interest and tax in 2010 as it posted expectation-beating fourth quarter profits and met its 2009 target, reports Dow Jones Newswires. Vivendi, which also owns pay-TV operator Canal Plus Group and has majority stakes in operators SFR (France) and Maroc Telecom, posted a EUR958 million net loss for the three months ended 31 December, after a net loss of EUR1.38 billion in the same quarter last year.
