Netherlands-based operator group KPN said it will “continue a constructive dialogue” with new shareholder America Movil, stating that it will “explore diligently any potential areas of cooperation that are viable, value accretive, in line with our strategy and in the interests of all shareholders and other stakeholders”. For the second quarter of 2012, KPN reported a net profit of EUR315 million, down 24 percent from EUR414 million, on revenue of EUR3.19 billion, down 3 percent from EUR3.29 billion.
