Reports suggest a PSP phone is being readied for launch, but Sony is said to be considering going it alone for the new device and walking away from an Ericsson partnership for manufacturer of the phone. Sony is said to be working on converting the current PSP model into a mobile device that could be ready in time for Christmas 2009.
