Interfax-China notes that China Mobile recorded 260,000 TD-SCDMA users at the end of September and additional frequencies for the technology have now been allocated. In addition to the current 1880-1992MHz spectrum and 2110-2125MHz spectrum designated for TD-SCDMA, a new 2300-2400MHz spectrum will also reportedly be available. Furthermore, portions of the 2500-2690MHz spectrum, 450-470MHz spectrum and 698-790MHz spectrum may also be used by TD-SCDMA networks.
