The Bangkok Post reports that Thai operators True Move and AIS are looking to take over the “tiny” CDMA business of Hutchison in the country, now that peer CAT Telecom has failed to agree a deal with the company. It was noted the acquisition would be a shortcut to offering 3G services in the country, following the suspension of the country’s spectrum auctions earlier this year.
