China Telecom is set to reduce its device subsidies later this year, ahead of the launch of the CDMA version of Apple’s iPhone in the country, Marbridge Daily reports. It was said that as part of the negotiations, Apple has said that there should be a single, nationwide subsidy on the iPhone, which should be the largest the operator offers on any handset. It was noted that currently, subsidy levels can vary from province-to-province.
