Investors in Russian number-two operator MegaFon are looking to raise US$11 billion from share sales through its planned IPO, according to Bloomberg sources. The valuation is below the US$12-16 billion fair trade valuation put forward by investment analysts. MegaFon is controlled by Russia’s richest man Alisher Usmanov and partially owned by Sweden’s TeliaSonera.
