Free Mobile’s roaming contract with France Telecom-Orange will cost the low-cost mobile operator more than EUR1 billion, according to the founder of parent company Iliad. Xavier Niel said in a radio programme that the deal would cost a similar amount to the rollout of Free’s own network, reports The Wall Street Journal.
