Indian state-owned operator BSNL aims to provide 3G services in 760 cities in the first phase of its deployment of the technology, Sindh Today reports, notes TeleGeography. Detailing its investment and rollout plans to the Union Parliament, BSNL also noted that it expects to spend INR27 billion (US$570 million) on the first phase of the project, claiming that it had already launched commercial 3G services in 111 cities so far.
