Telecompaper reports that Ukrainian telecommunications regulator NKRZ announced that the tender for 3G frequencies has been cancelled. The NKRZ will repay the tender guarantees posted by the three Ukrainian mobile operators who qualified for the tender, scheduled for 30 November. The regulator took the decision after Ukraine’s president issued an order blocking the release of radio frequencies held by the military for the 3G auction.
