Japan’s eAccess and mobile start-up eMobile are reportedly working towards a functional merger. TeleGeography, citing an IRG report, notes that the pair entered into a memorandum of understanding in December 2009 concerning a share exchange between the two companies, through which eMobile will become a wholly-owned subsidiary of eAccess.
